Cheese & Salad Roti tackos is an easy to make tasty dish that can be made with easily available ingredients at home.
Ingredients
- Roti – 2 pieces
- Tomato – 1 piece sliced
- Onion – 1 piece sliced
- Cucumber – 1 piece sliced
- Lemon juice – 2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce – 4 teaspoon
- Cheese slices – 2 pieces
- Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 5 ml( for shallow frying)
- Cooking Time -15 minutes
- Serving -2 persons
Procedure
- Make the salad with the sliced pieces of onion, tomato and cucumber.
- Add lemon juice, salt and pepper powder.
- Arrange the Tackos in a Large plate.
- At first place the Roti.
- Add small pieces of Cheese slices on one half of the roti only.
- Followed by the slices of salad .
- Over it pour the Tomato sauce followed by the slices of Cheese again.
- Now fold the roti from the empty side and cook it in ghee or oil on one side.
- Flip it over and cook the other side till the cheese seem to melt.
- Your Cheese & Salad Roti Tackos are ready to eat.
- Serve Hot.
