Vegetable Paneer Bhurji or Grated Cottage Cheese is very easy to make healthy and tasty dish. It has high protein content and a good amount of vegetables added to it to make a balanced healthy breakfast.
Ingredients
- Paneer (cottage cheese) – 100 grams
- Onion – 1 piece
- Tomato – 1 piece
- Carrot – 1 piece
- Spring onion – 1 piece
- Dhaniya powder (coriander powder) – 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
- Chat masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Procedure
- Take chopped vegetables like onion,tomato,carrot, capsicum and spring onion .
- Sauté them in kadhai or skillet till they are well cooked.
- Add dhaniya powder, chili powder,haldi powder, garam masala powder and chat masala.
- Cook for some time and add Paneer (cottage cheese) shredded by hand into the mixture.
- Cover and cook for five minutes in sim.
- Vegetable paneer bhurji is ready to eat.
- Excellent to be consumed with roti , Parantha or rice. It can also be used as a filling for Paneer Sandwich, Paneer Parantha or even Paneer Rolls.
- For Paneer roll try kneading the dough with multipurpose flour or maida little oil, sugar, salt and milk. Roll comes out really soft in that case.
