Chickpea salad is a healthy breakfast option with high protein and fiber content. It has the protein goodness of chickpea lentil and fiber content of salad ingredients.
Ingredients
- Chickpeas – 100 grams
- Onion – 1 piece
- Tomato – 1 piece
- Carrot – 1 piece
- Lemon – 1 piece
- Chaat masala – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Paneer – 50 grams
- Green coriander – 1 bunch
Procedure
- Soak chickpeas in water for at least 4-5 hours.
- After that boil them in cooker with 8-10 whistles.
- While boiling add salt to the water.
- Mix boiled chickpeas with chopped onion, tomato, carrot, salt, lemon juice and chat masala.
- Put salt as required.
- Dress it up with chopped green coriander and shredded paneer(cottage cheese).
- Your Chickpea salad is ready.
