Sprouted fruit salad is a power-packed healthy and easy breakfast option for starting a great day.
Ingredients
- Fruits Seasonal ( papaya , pomegranate , apple , orange peeled and chopped as required ) – 1 to 2 piece each
- Sprouts – 50 grams
- Onion – 1 piece
- Tomato – 1 piece
- Chat masala – 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – To taste
Procedure
- Sprouts can be prepared by soaking whole moong sabut daal in water for a day.
- Take the same in a muslin or cotton cloth and keep it hanged in open for a day.
- Sprouts take a day to grow.Grows well in moist and hot weather.
- If prepared in large quantities should be kept in open airy containers in refrigerator as it gets spoiled in airtight containers.
- Sprouts can be a good source of protein and the goodness of a normal lentil increases close to three times in sprout form.
- Mix sprouts with onion,tomato,lemon juice and salt.
- Add fruits to it or eat separate.
- Your sprout fruit salad is ready.
