Vanilla Fruit Custard is an excellent dessert option that tastes great and can be easily made with very few ingredients. What more is that its an excellent way top treat your children with the goodness of Fresh fruits and Milk.
Ingredients
- Milk – 250 ml
- Vanilla flavored Custard powder – 5 teaspoon
- Sugar – 2 teaspoon
- Fruits – 2 teaspoon chopped for garnishing
- Raisins – 1/2 teaspoon
- Cashew – 1 teaspoon (chopped)
- Preparation time – 15 minutes
- Serving – 2
Procedure
- Put milk for boiling in a large bowl.
- Add sugar and continue boiling.
- Take about 5 teaspoons of the boiling milk in a small bowl and add Custard powder.
- Mix well with no lumps.
- Add more milk if required to make a smooth solution.
- Add this solution back to the boiling milk.
- Keep stirring the milk till the colour changes to light yellow.
- Make sure no lumps are formed.
- Transfer the milk into small bowls and let it settle down.
- Keep in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Serve chilled after garnishing with cut pieces of fruits.
- I have added Mango and Banana.
Vanilla Fruit Custard is ready to consume chilled.
