This is easy to make healthy recipe for Breakfast.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese – 100 grams shredded
- Bread – 4 pieces
- Butter- 2 teaspoons
- Onion – 1 piece chopped
- Tomato – 1 piece chopped
- Mayonnaise – 4 teaspoon(vegetarian option)
- Oregano – 2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – For sauté
Procedure
Filling
- Take a kadhai and add oil.
- To it add chopped onion and tomato.
- Cook till oil seeps out of the mixture.
- Add shredded Cottage cheese to it.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add black pepper powder, oregano and salt.
- Cook some more.
- Keep aside.
Sandwich
- Put butter on one side of the bread.
- Add mayonnaise on the side where you put the filling.
- Add filling and cover it with another bread similarly treated.
- Put the sandwich on tawa and cook both sides for at least a minute.
- Serve Shredded Cottage Cheese in Mayo Sandwich hot with Tomato sauce.
- You can add tomato sauce and cheese to the filling to make it more tasty.
- But they add on to calories also.
Great way to start a day.
