This is a very popular dish in North India made out of curd and Gram Flour. It is main course curry dish that is really good in taste.

Ingredients
Pakora
- Gram flour – 100 grams
- Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Carom seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion – 2 medium size (sliced in long pieces)
- Salt – to taste
- Baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Oil – for deep frying
Kadhi
- Curd – 100 grams
- Gram flour – 2 tablespoon
- Salt – to taste
- Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard oil – 2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Whole red chili – 1 piece
- Asafetida – 1/4 teaspoon
Procedure
Pakora
- Take a large bowl and mix onion (sliced into large pieces) with gram flour , red chili powder, salt , carom seeds and water into a paste.
- It should neither be very thick nor thin.
- Mix well and add a spoonful of mixture for deep frying it in oil into pakoras.
Take out the pakoras in a large bowl with tissue paper to remove excess oil.
Kadhi
- Take the same bowl used for making the gram flour pakora paste.
- To this bowl add curd ,gram flour, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder and beat it real well so as to make a smooth paste.
Take a kadhai and add mustard oil.Temper with Asafetida , mustard seeds and whole red chili. - To this add the gram flour paste made with curd.
Let the mixture come to boiling.Adjust salt and water. - Boil again.
To this solution add pakoras and cook for some time. - Kadhi is easy to make dish .Its good in taste as well.
Serve Kadhi Pakoda hot with Rice or Roti.
