This is a very popular dessert in Bengal and can be made very easily.
Ingredients
- Grated coconut – 1 Bowl
- Sugar/Jaggery – 1 Bowl
- Water – 1/2 Bowl
- Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon
Procedure
- Take a kadhai and add 1/2 Bowl of water and 1 bowl sugar/jaggery.
Let it come to a boil. - Add grated coconut and cardamom powder.
- Cook the mixture till it thickness enough to turn them into laddoos with hand.
- Take it out in a large plate. Wet your hand with cold water and start making round balls with your palms.
- We can’t wait for it too cool down a lot because then it becomes difficult to form shapely laddos.
- Nariyal ke Laddoo or Narkeler Naru is ready to consume.
