Ingredients
Pani ke Bhalle is an excellent refreshing summer snack that can be prepared easily. It is excellent in taste.
Bhalle
- Moong daal – 50 grams( soaked 2 hrs )
- Urad Daal – 50 grams (soaked 2 hrs)
- Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Oil – for frying
Pani
- Mint leaves – 5 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves – 5 teaspoon
- Lemon – 2 pieces
- Salt – to taste
- Water – 250 ml
Garnishing
- Onion- 1 piece chopped
- Coriander leaves – 5 teaspoon chopped
- Preparation Time – 45 minutes
- Serving – 3
Procedure
Bhalle
- Mix the two Daal and churn them in mixer for 3-4 minutes for proper smooth paste.
- Add all ingredients to the Bhalle as mentioned above.
- Use whisker to churn the paste for at least 10 minutes for soft Bhalle preparation.
- Take spoonful of mixture and make pakoda by deep frying.
- Take out the oil in tissue paper and transfer all Bhalle to a bowl full of water .
- This takes away excess oil and makes them soft.
- Keep aside.
Pani
- Put mint and coriander leaves and little water in a mixer and churn for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the paste to a bowl and add more water.
- Add lemon juice and salt.
Garnishing
- Transfer all the prepared Bhalle to the Pani and garnish with onion and coriander leaves.
- Preferably served chilled in big bowls.
