Ingredient
Porridge – 1 bowl
Green moong lentil – 1 bowl
Cumin seeds – ¼ teaspoon
Asafoetida – ¼ th teaspoon
Red chili whole -1 piece
Chopped Vegetables – 1 piece each ( potato , capsicum , carrot , peas ,tomato onion
Procedure
Healthy and tasty breakfast – Namkeen Daliya (porridge) made with green split Moong Daal (lentil) mixed with vegetables carrot , capsicum , potato, peas , tomato, onion and green coriander.
Procedure
Take daliya or porridge . Dry roast on a kadai and put aside. Keep the green moong split daal soaked in water for half an hour. Take a cooker add little oil .Temper with asafetida , cumin seeds and red chili whole. Add all cut vegetables and fry a little . Put the roasted daliya and daal. Saute a little and mix well. Put water and salt and turmeric powder red chili powder and close the cooker. Its ready in four whistles .Really yummy to eat also. Adjust water according to your taste you want it dry or curry like.
